According to reports on September 5, 2012 Nokia is organizing an event in New York where it is going to announce its new Windows Phone 8 based smart-phone and tablet (the first tablet of Nokia). The devices will hit the market in October after the release of the OS on October 26. With this new Windows Phone 8 smart-phone Nokia is planning for a new beginning to improve its smart-phone sales in the market as the Windows 7 based Nokia Lumia range cannot be updated to Windows Phone 8.
The new Windows Phone 8 smart-phones are now going to offer dual core processors for high speed and multi-tasking rather than single core processors in the Windows 7 based Nokia Lumia with better features and specifications. Also, now market has set up its eye on Nokia Pureview 808 as Nokia has plans to update the smart-phone with Windows Phone 8.
The new OS created with the aim to give Android a new rival proves why the launch of the new smart-phone with Windows Phone 8 makes it important for Nokia as now the manufacturer is focusing on Windows phone rather than on OS like Symbian.
