After Samsung, HP has announced three new laptops that will be running on the new Windows 8 operating system. The tree devices are embedded with unique features and the design of the laptops has been kept sleek to make it more portable. The price of all the three laptops gives a wider range to users for selection according to its budget. With these upcoming creations HP is planning to give a strong competition to its competitors.
The laptops announced are given with a brief introduction of the features and specifications are as follows:
HP ENVY x2 Notebook:
- This is a convertible notebook having 11.6inch display hat is powered by 1.3-1.8GHz dual core Intel Clover Trail processor.
- It is connected to a full-sized keyboard at the base.
- The two components of the tablet are powered by there own battery. So when the battery is low the battery of keyboard discharges first while the tablet keeps working.
- To get HD quality sound output the tab is embedded with Beats Audio (advance software equalizer) and also it is integrated with NFC.
- The tablet has both rear camera of 8MP and front camera of 1.9MP.
- For storage of songs, movies and other documents it has a 64GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD).
HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4:
- This is mid-range notebook offering sleek design for easy portability and a 14 inch multi-touch HD display with a backlit keyboard.
- For better performance it is pre-loaded with the latest Intel Core Processor and a 2GB AMD graphics card.
- For HD quality sound output it is powered by Beats Audio (advance software equalizer).
- The laptop weighs 2.16Kg and gives a battery backup of 8hours in one complete charge.
- The price of the laptop although not confirm but is expected to be Rs. 39,990 or $699.
HP Spectre XT TouchSmart Ultrabook:
- This is an extremely beautiful notebook having 15.6 inch multi-touch HD display.
- This is the first HP notebook with Intel Thunderbolt TM technology for quick transfer of data.
- It has ports like USB v3.0, HDMI-out port and Thunderbolt port.
- The laptop has a beautiful metallic body.
- The Notebook is expected to launch in December, although the launch date is not yet decided and the expected price is Rs. 78,000 or $1,399.
All the three laptops have been designed and featured while taking care of needs as well as price budget of the users. The other HP laptops based on Windows 8 will be announced later in 2012.
