Lenovo’s New Release of IdeaPad

World’s no.2 computer manufacturer company Lenovo has launched new S, U & Y series laptops in its IdeaPad range. The laptops are designed and featured with the aim to given the market and customers affordable laptops that are thin and sleek. The new laptops under the series have been launched at the IFA conference in Berlin and all are Windows 7 based that can be upgraded to Windows 8 after the release on October 26. The range of this series starts from $499 that goes up with the configuration of the model.

 

The Lenovo IdeaPad S300, S400 and S405 have a 14 inch long display with a thickness of less than an inch. The laptop weighs just 1.8 Kg and gives the users a battery backup of 5 hours in complete single charge. To enhance there performance the laptops have been pre-installed with Intel and Advanced Micro Devices processors. The laptops are available in colors like graphite gray, cotton candy pink and crimson red and the body of the laptops are metallic to give a more stylish look.

 

The U series Lenovo IdeaPad has also been given a new model named U510. This model has a 15 inch display with a thickness of less than an inch again and it weighs 2.18 Kg. It is powered by the latest Intel core processors for performance enhancement. The price of the laptop is $679 to give other upcoming laptops of Windows 8 a strong competition in the market.

 

The next laptops unveiled are under the Y series. The new Y400 and Y500 have a 14 inch and 15.6 inch display. These are consumer focused laptops powered by Intel core processors with 2GB graphic’s card of Nividia’s GeForce GT655M for improved gaming and multimedia performance. The price of the laptops will start from $649 and the laptops will be availed in October with Windows 8.

 

Although there are certain laptops like 21.5 inch B340 and B345 giant laptops that will get upgrades of Windows 8 after its release. The new Operating system has already started making the hold in the market with the new releases being announced prior to its launch.
