Today on September 5, 2012 Nokia introduced a new smart-phone in the Lumia family in an event in New York. The new Nokia Lumia 920 has been launched at a very crucial time with the aim of improving the market share of Nokia in the smart-phone market. The smart-phone has a 4.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touch-screen with 16M colors and 720×1280 pixels of resolution. The handset running on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 operating system is powered by 1.5GHz dual core processor.
The windows 8 based smart-phone has Dolby digital plus and Dolby headphone enhancement for HD quality sound output. It has an 8MP pureview camera with autofocus, LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. It has an internal built-in storage of 32GB with 1GB RAM. Get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n for wireless connectivity with Bluetooth (with A2DP & EDR) and USB port for fie transfer through device to device connectivity.
The handset available in four different color variations Black, Gray, Red and Yellow has other features like accelerometer, GPS support, HTML 5, SNS integration, microSIM card support, MP3/MP4 player, document viewer/editor, predictive text input, voice memo, video/photo editor etc. The best feature entitled with handset is the wireless charging that lets user’s battery backup confidence anywhere and anytime.
The handset launched by Nokia aims to sail drowning ship of the manufacturer at the corner. Hope it gives it a big business as the smart-phone has launched just a week before the launch of iPhone 5.
