Nokia Lumia 820 Announced

Nokia with Nokia Lumia 920 launched Nokia Lumia 820 at a press event in New York. The smart-phone will hit the market later in Quarter 4 in selected countries and the price of the handsets will be announced prior to its availability. The Windows 8 based smart-phone is powered by 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon processor. The smart-phone avails 2G, 3G and 4G LTE network to the users with a 4.3 inch AMOLED capacitive touch-screen with 16M colors and 480×800 pixels of resolution.

The Windows 8 based smart-phone has an internal storage of 8GB with microSD card slot expandable upto 32GB. It has an 8MP too featuring Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, autofocus, dual LED Flash, geo-tagging and 3264×2448 pixels of resolution. Pre-installed with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Wi-Fi direct for wireless connectivity with Bluetooth, NFC and microUSB v2.0 port for quick file transfer from one device to another.

Other features include HTML5, GPS support, SNS integration, MP3/MP4 player, predictive text input, voice memo, document viewer/editor, video/photo editor etc. The best part of the smart-phone is wireless charging that makes it much handier as compared to other smart-phone present right now in the market. Also the handset is available in numerous color variations like Black, Gray, Red, Yellow, White, Blue and Violet.

After all these great specifications Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumis 820 both have been unsuccessful in impressing its investors. According to few analysts the smart-phone might have some differentiating features but the smart-phone lacks the look and feel promised by the CEO on Nokia Stephen Elop.
