As the date of the launch of the latest Windows platform is about to arrive many different device manufacturers are also ready with their piece of art using this new platform. After Sony Vaio Duo 11 and Sony Vaio Tap 20 now the company has announced a new range of laptops and ultra-books under its E, T and S series using the Windows 8 platform.
Under this series new models of laptops will be launched under E14P and E17. The E14P series laptops will be available in three different size variations of 11inch, 14 inch and 15 inch with touch screen as well as non touch screen features. On the other hand the new E17 series will have a 17 inch LED display offering a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
The price of the non touch E14P series is expected to start from $449.99, while the E14P series featuring touch screen will start costing $689.99. The laptops having size variation of 14 inch and 15 inch under this series will be loaded with a graphics card and Intel core processor with backlit keyboards.
The price range of the E17 laptops will start approximately from $729.99.
A new range of ultra-books are announced under the T13 and T14 series. The T13 series ultra-books will feature touch screen display at a starting price of $799.99 and T14 series will have a normal 14 inch LED display approximately at $669.99.
The body of these ultra-books is slightly thicker making it look smarter as compared to the previous ones.
The new laptops under the S series have a size variation ranging from 13.3 inch to 15.5 inch. The standard and premium models designed under this series have a stylish body that is made of magnesium, aluminum and carbon fiber.
The laptop having size range in 13 inch will have a starting price of $799.99 (standard models) and 1199.99 (premium models). The models having size variation of 15 inch will cost approximately $849.99.
