Recently, the giant Korean electronics manufacturer, Samsung, has announced a new 13 inch ultra-book to its Windows 8 collection. The expected price with a list of few features and specifications has been unveiled that will help you have a little introduction of this device.
Features of the Series 5 Ultra-book model:
- The Windows 8 based ultra-book are powered by i3 and i5 (with extra $50) processor.
- It has a 13 inch touch display offering a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
- The memory configuration of the ultra-book is 4GB RAM and 500GB of hard disk with 24 gigs of ExpressCache for high speed performance of the device.
- The device weighs just 3.83 pounds or 1.73 kg that makes it handy for users.
- The price of the ultra-book will start from $809.99.
Two more tablets under the ATIV range of Samsung have been announced – ATIV Smart PC 500T and ATIV Smart PC 700T. The tablets running on Windows 8 platform are powered by different processors i.e. ATIV Smart PC 500T is powered by Intel i5 core processor and ATIV Smart PC 700T is powered by Atom Z2760 processor.
The memory configuration of 500T is 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 700T is 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The expected price of 500T with keyboard is $749.99 and without keyboard is 649.99, on the other hand the starting price of 700T is $1199.99.
Other devices are also there in the line of Samsung’s Windows 8 devices that will be availed after the launch of the upcoming Windows 8 platform on October 26, 2012.
