MyRadar is one of the best weather application out there in marketplace, it is said to be the fastest, no-frills weather app available. The application is very easy to use and shows animated weather radar on your phone’s screen, around your present location. MyRadar uses location services of our phone to quickly pop up the animated weather updates on our screen.

MyRadar comes with standard pinch to zoom capability that allows us to smoothly zoom in and zoom out, to see the weather around you. It is animated display is very helpful to gather weather infomation, like considering rain, you can check, if rain is heading toward or away from your location, and at which speed. The main advantage of this app is its free cost. But the major disadvantage is its worldwide unavailability, MyRadar currently shows weather only in the United States, including  the 50 states only (not Puerto Rico and other territoriesare also excluded.

Microsoft’s AdCenter Update started Rolling Out

The new microsoft adcentre update is released and it has started rolling out, the new update features, improved support for tablet PC traffic measurement,  increment in ad-group limits and restricted-site limits, and includes an easier billing screen.

With this update, MAI(Microsoft Advertising Intelligence) enables user to measure, Traffic performance, Keyword Performance, and enables search for User Location, Age Groups & Gender, for tablet PCs too. With this update, you will be able to find out how much traffic is generated through tablet PC for any specific keyword, and you can also check out the performance of any keyword, if searched on a tablet.

The Limit of Ads per Ad Group has been Increased to 50 ads from 20 ads. you can’t import more than 50 ads for more keywords it shows an error message. This increment is applicable to only search and contextual ads, excluding Rich Ads or Mobile ads. increment is rolling out in the July to the AdCentre UI and AdCentre  Desktops will be availing this by August 2012.

Users opting, Yahoo Search and Bing syndicated search partner traffic, will be able to restrict up to 2,000 sites at the campaign or ad group levels. The previous restriction limit was 500 sites. 2000 is the total amount for both, for campaign and ad group level, you can use either campaign or ad group level, selecting both will result in selection of ad group level as a default.

Billing Screen update consists “Payment Methods” button, improved view for Account summary with efficient buttons. For convenience of the old user they have given an option to toggle between the old and new screen.

Samsung’s new windows phone Samsung Omnia M (Minuet) S7530 is made available for preorder in United Kingdom at http://www.unlocked-mobiles.com, while the officail release date is chosen to be 27th August, the price for this windows device is set to have £249.98. The preorder variant of this windows mobile phone is SIM-free for consumers, in starting. Well as per the known specs, device shows moderate specifications in comparison with other available windows phone devices which can make it tough to adjust with them in this price.

Samsung Omnia M features 1GHz, single-core processor  with 384 MB RAM. The best and most attractive feature of this device is its 4″ Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with screen resolution of 480 x 800 with 233ppi pixel density. As far as the phone memory concerns phone comes with 4GB and 8GB options . Battery capacity of 1500mAh seems to be less for supporting all the features.

Nokia’s satellite navigation app, Nokia Drive 3.0 has been released and made available to the Windows Phone market place for Nokia devices. Nokia Drive 3.0 is released as a Nokia Drive 3.0.0.2978 firmware update, which includes some noticeable updates and My Commute is the most effective feature added to it.

My Commute feature has got the capability to learn your driving preferences, it uses the track of traffic conditions and helps you to choose between different routes. My Commute, tracks the route you used to drive daily, checks the clarity of route through live traffic  updates and suggests the best route to drive through. US is the first country chosen for My commute services and will be available in other countries very soon (not yet confirmed).

Other than My Commute, Nokia 3.0.0.2978 firmware update includes Automatic day and night mode, Favorite places, and the capability to pin different destinations to your phone’s Start Screen.

Automatic day/night mode is for best visibility of the App in your windows phone device, This feature automatically detects day or night and adjusts display settings of your device  for optimized viewing.

While Pin to start feature enables you to pin your journey to your start screen and you will be able to start your predefined journey with just a tap at your home screen.

Nokia drive’s Favorite places feature includes the addition of your favorite place to the app, that sets the journey for these places and gives you the convenience to start your journey from your favorites and with pinning these favorites you can start a run instantly from your start screen. A small drawback of this feature is its incapability to sync local/online with Nokia Maps so you have to set separate favorites for Nokia Map and Nokia Drive.
